Everything about Imaad Wasif totally explained

Imaad Wasif, born Vancouver, Canada, is a singer, guitarist and songwriter.
   Imaad Wasif has played in the bands lowercase, alaska! and The New Folk Implosion. His first, self-titled solo acoustic record was released in 2006 on Kill Rock Stars. Wasif toured with Yeah Yeah Yeahs on their 2006 Show Your Bones tour as second guitarist. He also performed his solo work as the support act for most shows. In 2007 he began performing with a new backing band as Imaad Wasif with Two Part Beast. In 2008, he self-released Strange Hexes, an album exploring "the depths of madness and love". The album's companion piece, a book of aphorisms and cipher poems titled Letters of a Suicide Profiteer, hasn't been published.
   He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
